Concept development and testing: With so much technology at our fingertips, it seems to be pointless that keys are the primary means of home entry. Having to constantly scramble for keys to unlock a door while having many things in your hands, or being caught out in a rainstorm can be very frustrating. Our products are ideal for mothers, the elderly, disabled persons, and anyone else who is tired of messing with keys. With this product, there will be no more fidgeting with locks, and having to carry several keys around all the time. It can, and will get easier.
Marketing strategy development: There are many different markets we are looking to reach. The primary target would be existing home and property owners. Another segment we are looking to appeal to, are new home and residential property builders, and small locksmith businesses. Wholesaling our product to larger distributors is another part of the market we will be pursuing, as well as potentially partnering with home security companies. Through individual consumers, locksmiths, builders, home security companies, and distributing our product to larger retailers, Remote Access will form a strong presence in the remote lock industry.
Business Analysis: Remote Access aims to simplify the way in which people enter their homes through the use of radio frequency technologies. With everything else in life being just one click away, there is no excuse for home entry systems to be any different. Our company will strive to make this product more appealing and readily available to consumers, then the competition.
Product Development: We will produce various styles of deadbolt door locks that can be synced with a remote just like a car, and home security systems, smartphones, and computers. Different models would offer a wide range of features, but even the simple remote for your front door as opposed to a set of keys, is an improvement. The design allows the door lock to keep the traditional look, but operate with a remote rather than a set of keys. Radio wave frequencies will open many doors for us both as a company, and on an individual basis.
Test Marketing: Remote Access will use new home builders as a test market.
Commercialization: Remote Access will manufacture this product in a small store front location. Consumers will be able to purchase their home locks directly from us or at their local Home Depot.
